2025-2026 Honors Night

The PTSA proudly sponsored the Honors Night reception on April 16th before the awards presentation. We welcomed 149 honorees and their families, bringing the total attendance to approximately 350 guests. Honors Night is an evening to celebrate the top students in each academic department by grade level (as selected by the teachers), as well as to celebrate other specific academic honorees, including the senior class Valedictorian and Salutatorian; National Merit Scholars; Service Academy appointments; GHP finalists; PTSA scholarship winners; and a few other selected honors related to school-sponsored academic organizations.

Please note this event is distinct from the honor roll recognition or for recognizing honor graduates. The honor roll is celebrated each semester with a treat from the PTSA, and honor graduates are recognized at graduation.

The reception was a great success thanks to the dedicated planning efforts of the PTSA Honors Night Chair, Surekha Shah, VPs of Academic Enrichment, Xiaoyun Zhang and Sophie Guo, our wonderful parent volunteers Fangping Yu, Ella Liu, Hongmei Zhang, Nicole Yarid, and the enthusiastic support from student volunteers from the Beta Club.
