Medication Disposal Drive

We are hosting our Medication Disposal Day in partnership with Integrated Psychiatric Services , One Johns Creek, and the Johns Creek Police Department on Tuesday, 3/10/26. This initiative aims to provide a safe, responsible way to dispose of unused and expired medications, helping to protect our families, environment, and community from the risks of improper drug disposal. STUDENTS MAY NOT DROP OFF MEDICATIONS; ONLY ADULTS MAY DO SO.

What you Can Bring
· Prescription medications (pills, tablets, capsules)
· Over-the-counter medications
· Vitamins and supplements
· Liquids and creams

What We Cannot Accept
· Needles, sharps, or syringes
· Illegal Substances

Why This Matters
 Over 90,000 drug overdose deaths were reported in the U.S. in 2020.
 15% of suicides involve drug overdoses.
 Limiting access to medications is one of the best ways to prevent
accidental and intentional overdose
 Improperly disposed medications can harm our environment
and put others at risk.

Disposing of medications properly prevents misuse and helps keep harmful substances
out of our waterways and landfills. Please join us in making a positive impact on our
community’s health and safety.

 Wellness Wednesday 2/11

We would like to thank our parent volunteers who helped us promote self love and bring awareness to February’s national teen dating violence awareness month. 🩷❤️

Johns Creek High School PTSA is looking for volunteers for Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Media Center.  This is an excellent way to support our school and connect with the JCHS community.

Please contact Tobey Gray if you have any questions or need other days.

Media Center Volunteers

Also just a reminder, you are required to complete registration and training before the date of volunteering.

JCHS Needs Parent Volunteers.

Please Join the PTSA.

All school volunteers will need to register to assist with working in the office, attendance office, drama department, team meals, senior treats, Wellness Wednesday, senior carnival, chaperones, etc.

Any task that will allow you to interact with students will require you to register as a volunteer.

Please follow the link to access the FCS Volunteer Registration page. Register as a Volunteer - Fulton County School System (fultonschools.org)

All visitors must remember to bring in their driver's license each time they sign in. This is non-negotiable. The license must be scanned each time you come to the office. It will not hold onto the information like the other system. So if you are coming in for a parent/counseling/teacher/administrator meeting, you must remember to bring your license. It must be the physical license; digital will not suffice.
