PTSA Mini-Grant Spotlight

The PTSA mini-grants, made possible by the generous support of our PTSA members, fuel innovative projects across our school community.  This week we highlight one of the recipients of the mini-grants and the projects it supported.

Aubrey Robertson: School Courtyard Beautification Alliance

The PTSA funded Eco-Care Alliance's purchase of three additional tables for the courtyard. This will enable more students to enjoy the courtyard during lunch. We're also working to get additional hardware to repair some of the existing tables that need repair.

Thank you, PTSA, for supporting our environmental and outdoor projects!

As we race toward the finish line of this academic year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you who have generously given your time and energy volunteering at our school. Your support has made a real difference in our community.

To the parents of graduating seniors without younger children at the school—we offer our warmest congratulations and a fond farewell. Thank you for all you’ve done over the years. You’ll be missed!

Volunteer Opportunity

The PTSA is currently seeking a Library/Media Center Volunteer Coordinator for the 2025-26 school year. This role involves working with Ms. Robertson to understand the library’s needs and organizing volunteer support. If you have strong organizational skills and a bit of time to spare, we’d love to have your help in this meaningful role.  Please reach out to Kristen Bush (kristenbush@yahoo.com) with any questions.

 Volunteers:

JCHS often needs parent volunteers, so please join the PTSA!

All school volunteers will need to register to assist with working in the office, attendance office, drama department, team meals, senior treats, Wellness Wednesday, senior carnival, chaperones, etc.

Any task that will allow you to interact with students will require you to register as a volunteer.

Please follow the link to access the FCS Volunteer Registration page. Register as a Volunteer - Fulton County School System (fultonschools.org)

All visitors must remember to bring in their driver's license each time they sign in. This is non-negotiableThe license will need to be scanned each time they come to the office. It will not hold onto the information like the other system. So, if you are coming in for a parent/counseling/teacher/administrator meeting, you must remember to bring your license. It must be the physical license, digital will not suffice.
