Join the JCHS PTSA!

PTSA Membership Drive

We are making progress and have reached 65% of our goal but we still need your help!  Your membership will allow us to fund student scholarships, classroom mini grants to enhance the learning experience, and wellness programs every month for student benefit, just to name a few.  Please help us build back our membership base so we can expand programs that benefit our kids! There are various levels of membership, and any donation is greatly appreciated.

Baccalaureate Chair/Co-Chairs Needed

Attention Senior Parents!  Baccalaureate has been scheduled for May 4 from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm at Johns Creek Baptist Church.  This is not sponsored by the school or the PTSA.  It is a parent coordinated event planned and implemented for our graduating seniors and their parents/families/friends.  If you would like to serve as a Chair or Co-Chair or would like more information please email Joni.murphy@comcast.net.  Go Glads and congratulations to all of our 2025 Seniors!

Korean Luncheon

JCHS Teachers and Staff were treated to a special Korean luncheon on Thursday, February 6. This event was orchestrated by a dedicated group of parents who gave their time and talents to provide a delicious Korean meal. This event was sponsored by the PTSA. It is always a highlight of the school year. Thank you to all of our parents who helped make this event a success!

A special thank you to the parents of Steve Hyun, Ethan Cho, Korrine Lee, Benajamin Lee, Emma Lee, Caren Lee, Jaden Yim, Henry Lee, Andrew Lee, Jinwook Jung, Justin Park, Jun Choi, Justin Choi, Kaylin Lee, Heidi Jeong, Ian Lim, and Jay Park.

February Wellness Wednesday

Wellness Wednesday... "Love your Lungs, Protect your Heart!"
The PTSA Wellness Committee hosted an event on Wednesday February 12 during all lunches to promote an Anti-vaping campaign and Heart Awareness Month. A big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this event happen!

Medication Disposal Day--March 7, 2025

Johns Creek High School will be hosting Medication Disposal Day, organized by Integrated Psychiatric Services and One Johns Creek. This initiative aims to provide a safe and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired medications, helping to protect our families, environment, and community from the risks of improper drug disposal. STUDENTS CANNOT BRING MEDICATIONS TO SCHOOL FOR DISPOSAL; ADULT DROP OFF ONLY. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Attendance Office Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for a few volunteers to fill regular shifts in the attendance office.  For more information, please email ashleydmullins@gmail.com

Attention Seniors!

JCHS PTSA is proud to sponsor the College and Career Commitment Board and celebrate the future commitments of our seniors. If you are a current senior and have accepted admission to a college, trade school, military branch, or career pathway, we want to hear from you.

Please use the following link to have your name posted on our board.

Volunteers:

JCHS often needs parent volunteers, so please join the PTSA!

All school volunteers will need to register to assist with working in the office, attendance office, drama department, team meals, senior treats, Wellness Wednesday, senior carnival, chaperones, etc.

Any task that will allow you to interact with students will require you to register as a volunteer.

Please follow the link to access the FCS Volunteer Registration page. Register as a Volunteer - Fulton County School System (fultonschools.org)

All visitors must remember to bring in their driver's license each time they sign in. This is non-negotiableThe license will need to be scanned each time they come to the office. It will not hold onto the information like the other system. So, if you are coming in for a parent/counseling/teacher/administrator meeting, you must remember to bring your license. It must be the physical license, digital will not suffice.
