PTSA Membership Drive

We are making progress and have reached 65% of our goal but we still need your help! Your membership will allow us to fund student scholarships, classroom mini grants to enhance the learning experience, and wellness programs every month for student benefit, just to name a few. Please help us build back our embership base so we can expand programs that benefit our kids! There are various levels of membership, and any donation is greatly appreciated.

The JCHS PTSA Wellness Committee is looking forward to our next Wellness event on October 23, 2024.

October is Drug awareness month and national Red Ribbon Week. We will provide the students with information on how they can be drug free as well as provide them with candy.

Volunteers Needed for Honor Roll Celebration

We are excited to invite you to join us in celebrating our outstanding students on October 28, 2024! On this day, we will be honoring our 10th-12th graders who made the honor roll for Spring Semester 2024. These students will receive a special treat during their lunch break (3rd, 4th or 5th period). To make this celebration even more memorable, we are seeking volunteers to help distribute these treats. Volunteers

JCHS often needs parent volunteers, so please join the PTSA!

All school volunteers will need to register to assist with working in the office, attendance office, drama department, team meals, senior treats, Wellness Wednesday, senior carnival, chaperones, etc.

Any task that will allow you to interact with students will require you to register as a volunteer.

All visitors must remember to bring in their driver's license each time they sign in. This is non-negotiable. The license will need to be scanned each time they come to the office. It will not hold onto the information like the other system. So, if you are coming in for a parent/counseling/teacher/administrator meeting, you must remember to bring your license. It must be the physical license, digital will not suffice.

Attention Seniors! Pay your Senior Activities fee now.

You’re almost there! The Creek has some great traditions that allow parents and staff to love on our seniors and help them celebrate the closing of an important chapter! NOW is the time to write a whole new story in your lives.

Fees – $90 per student

What you get for the $$$

Senior Sunrise Breakfast on the first day of school (6:30-8:00 AM).
7 yummy treats delivered to school throughout the year.
We will have food trucks!
We will have games!
A yard sign to notify everyone how cool you are as a graduate of JCHS.

EXTRA DONATIONS ARE GREAT!

We'd love to have all Seniors participate. You can sponsor a Student who may not otherwise participate by adding an additional donation of $90 for another Student or any other amount ($10, $20, $30) when you register. Thank you!

We need you!! It’s the Final Chapter for our JCHS Seniors this year and we have lots of fun events and activities planned, but need help in making them a reality. Please sign up to help us make this the best year yet!

Graduation Fees Increase November 1, 2024

Senior Parents:

If you have not paid Graduation Fees to 3rd Ascent, then this is your reminder that required Graduation Fees are due no later than, October 31, 2023 to pay at the lowest rate.

For your convenience the School Graduation Fee Calendar is below:

Today through October 31, 2024=$160

Starting November 1, 2024=$170

Starting December 1, 2024=$190

Graduation Fees are mandatory and are paid directly to 3RD Ascent (the company the school contracts with to provide graduation regalia). You can pay the fee on their website linked below:

These fees are not the same as PTSA Senior Activity Fees that you paid to the JCHS PTSA for senior treats, etc. If you have questions about graduation, please email Patrick Martin, Assistant Principal, at MartinP1@fultonschools.org.

The JCHS PTSA Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications for 3 PTSA scholarships: the Laurel Schmitt Service Scholarship, the Trailblazer Scholarship, and the All-Rounder Scholarship.

Deadline for applications is December 22, 2024.

All scholarship applicants must be planning to attend a college or university in the fall of the following calendar year, and must be a PTSA student member at the time of application. For further criteria, details and the application links, please visit the scholarship link:

Senior Portraits Roundup - Oct. 22

Cady Studios will be on campus Tuesday, October 22 offering five-minute simple senior portrait sessions. There is no fee for this service. Please sign up for an appointment. Reminder: your senior needs to have a portrait taken with Cady Studios to be included in the senior section of the yearbook.
