This year’s theme, “What My Culture Means to Me,” invites you to share your own unique interpretation through the arts.

Submission guidelines and entry forms will be available at the Media Center starting September 15,

or you may email hongmeizh01@gmail.com to request them.

Please return your completed entry materials to the Media Center by October 16 and also submit an electronic copy to hongmeizh01@gmail.com.

Picture Day Photos Are Ready

The wait is over — Picture Day portraits are now available to view and order online. Visit cady.com/pictureday to access your student's gallery, explore package options,

and place an order.

If your student missed Picture Day or isn't happy with their picture,

please note the date for retakes — Thursday, Sept. 17.

Students can visit the auxiliary gym during English,

or whenever they have a break in their schedule, to take a picture.

We’re excited to announce Sweet Teacher Shoutouts, giving up to 30 PTAs the opportunity to receive $1,250 from National PTA to celebrate exceptional teachers.

We’re inviting families and PTAs to recognize the educators who inspire, encourage and make learning meaningful every day. And entering is super simple—you can share your entry right here in the comments of this Facebook post or on your own Facebook page!

Share a favorite photo or video and tell us what makes your teacher truly buzz-worthy. You can highlight as many teachers as you’d like, but please feature one teacher per entry.

JCHS needs parent volunteers, so please join the PTSA!

All school volunteers will need to register to assist with working in the office, attendance office, drama department, team meals, senior treats, Wellness Wednesday, senior carnival, chaperones, etc.

Any task that will allow you to interact with students will require you to register as a volunteer.

All visitors must remember to bring in their driver's license each time they sign in. This is non-negotiable. The license must be scanned each time you come to the office. It will not hold onto the information like the other system. So, if you are coming in for a parent/counseling/teacher/administrator meeting, you must remember to bring your license. It must be the physical license; digital will not suffice.
