REFLECTIONS WINNERS ANNOUNCED

National PTA Reflections: Explore the Arts and Express Yourself.  The National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the art and in life.  PTSA rewarded our Reflections winners with Chick-fil-A breakfasts

PTSA Mini-Grants

Congratulations to recipients of the PTSA mini-grants, totaling an impressive $10,000! These grants, made possible by the generous support of our PTSA members, will fuel innovative projects across our school community.

Food Drive

 

The JCHS CREED Committee is excited to announce a food drive for the holidays through North Fulton Charities.  To support our community, the committee is asking JCHS families to donate items that will be sent to help stock North Fulton Charities Food Pantry, which supplies dried goods and toiletries to families in need.  The Flex class that donates the most food will win a Chick-fil-A tray of chicken minis. The teacher will also win a prize too! 

When: Monday, November 27 - Tuesday, December 12 

Where: Students will drop their items in crates in their Flex Class.

PTSA Scholarship deadline is fast approaching - December 15th! Don't delay!

 

Attention Seniors!  Looking for ways to help fund the next steps in your education journey?  The PTSA is proud to announce the continuation of 3 scholarships that recognize your hard work and dedication throughout high school.  The three scholarships are: The JCHS PTSA Laurel Schmitt Service Scholarship, the JCHS PTSA Trailblazer Scholarship, and the PTSA All-Rounder Scholarship. All JCHS Seniors that are PTSA members by 12/15/23 and have at least a GPA of 80% weighted may apply.  Scholarships this year are up to $1000 each!

Class of 2024: Sign up for senior activities.  You will need a QR Code to access the activities.  Click here to sign up for senior activities. 

 

Pay your graduation fee today:

November 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023 the fee is $170

Starting January 1, 2024 the fee increases to $195

Graduation Fees are mandatory and are paid directly to 3RD ASCENT (the company the school contracts with to provide graduation regalia).  You can pay the fee on their website: www.3rdAscent.com

Attention Seniors ... Register to Vote!

How to Register:  Its easy and online registertovote.sos.ga.gov

 

If you will be away from home at college, etc. on an election day, remember to apply for an Absentee Ballot several weeks in advance.  Go to mvp.sos.ga.gov, and click on the "Absentee Ballot" option.  You can also check your registration details and voting location on this site.   
 
Note that if you make a permanent move, be sure to change your Georgia voter registration details or register with your new state of residence when you get a new driver's license.
