September Voter Registration Drive for Seniors

On September 23, PTSA Legislation held a Voter Registration Drive next to Senior Treats at all lunch periods. Patriotic balloons and a cute teddy bear welcomed students to the non-partisan event featuring an easy link to register online using Georgia's registertovote.sos.ga.gov.

By the way, students can register to vote as soon as they are 17 1/2 years old, and can vote once they turn 18 years of age.

Honor Roll Volunteers Needed!

PTSA is currently looking for 8 parents per shift to help with our Fall Honor Roll Recognition event on Friday, Oct. 28th.

This event is to recognize students with a 90 and above grade point average across all subjects. 9th graders are not included in the Fall celebration as they do not yet have a recorded high school grade. They will be included in the Spring celebration.

About 900 students this Fall will be celebrated during the 3 lunch periods with a pretzel treat.

First Shift arrives in the courtyard at 10:10 AM - 12:00 pm. Please arrive at the front office by 10:05 am to check-in.
Second Shift schedule: 12:00 - 1:45 pm

If you're able to stay for both shifts, please let us know.

REMINDER: Fulton County requires all volunteers to watch a short video and it takes three to four days to show the approval certificate at the school side. Please finish this ASAP if you want to volunteer for this event. https://www.fultonschools.org/Page/9539. If you got approval last school year, you have to get a new certificate starting this June.

Avoid the Crowds - Early Voting on NOW!

Early voting for the November 8 election is open now through Friday, November 4th at many convenient locations around town, including: Ocee Library, Northeast Spruill Library, East Roswell Library, Park Place at Newtown, and many others.

Early voting hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm and also some weekend dates as follows:

Saturdays 10/22 and 10/29 from 7:00am to 7:00pm

Sundays 10/23 and 10/30 from 11:00am to 5:00pm
