JCHS PTSA Update - October 13, 2021

Weekly Newsletter - October 13, 2021

JCHS staff members were treated to yogurt fruit parfaits and Starbucks coffee on Monday, September 20th. This was a great way for them to start their day and week at JCHS!

Senior Portraits Roundup

If your graduate hasn’t had a senior portrait taken yet, Cady Studios will be on campus Wednesday, Nov. 10 to round up these seniors for yearbook pictures.

Reserve your time slot now

Sessions will be five minutes and will include one pose, one picture that will be used for the yearbook. There is no cost for this service. You can order copies of the picture to send to family and friends, but there is no obligation to do so. Please note that you must have pictures taken no later than Nov. 15 to be included in the yearbook senior section. Due to deadlines, we can’t guarantee inclusion of any senior photographed after this date.

Email the yearbook sponsor, Mrs. Clark, with any questions.

Attention SENIORS: Register to Vote!

Though the deadline, Oct 4, has passed for this upcoming election, make sure you're registered before the next one!

It's quick, easy and online:  sos.ga.gov

Seniors, if you will be age 18 by the November 2 election date, and are registered, you can vote!

And tell your parents:  It is a good idea to check your registration status, at the link above.

Note that if you have older siblings living away for college or military, they should request an absentee ballot to be able to vote in their permanent home precinct.

Mark your calendars!  Election day is Tuesday November 2, and Georgia's early voting period is October 12-25 (a great option to avoid the crowds).
