Join the JCHS PTSA!

PTSA Membership Drive

We are making progress and have reached 65% of our goal but we still need your help!  Your membership will allow us to fund student scholarships, classroom mini grants to enhance the learning experience, and wellness programs every month for student benefit, just to name a few.  Please help us build back our membership base so we can expand programs that benefit our kids! There are various levels of membership, and any donation is greatly appreciated.

Picture Retake Day

Picture Retake Day is October 18. Students will go to the aux gym during their English class if they need a retake. For students who don't take English on campus, they should stop by the aux gym when it best fits with their schedule; however, they will need to check in with that period's teacher first. Cady Studios will be set up from 8:20 am until 3:30 pm.

Wellness Wednesday

October 23, 2024

The JCHS PTSA Wellness Committee is looking forward to our next Wellness event on October 23, 2024.

October is Drug awareness month and national Red Ribbon Week. We will provide the students with information on how they can be drug free as well as provide them with candy.

The JCHS PTSA can't host these fun events without volunteers like you!  Please sign up to volunteer using the signup genius link. Wellness Wednesday October Volunteer Sign Up

Johns Creek Police Department's Annual Trunk or Treat

The Johns Creek Police Department is having its annual Truck or Treat in October and needs candy donations to make the event awesome! Students and staff are asked to bring in new bags of candy and drop them in the decorated boxes in the main lobby and admin office. The more bags the better since we compete with Hooch and Northview. Hooch edged us out last year. Let's not let that happen again. Let's show the JCPD how generous we are by filling up those boxes. Donations can be brought in until Friday, October 11th.

IT’S PINK OUT TIME!

Every year, the Johns Creek High School cheerleaders host a fundraiser during our “Pink Out” football game benefiting an organization that supports women and families affected by breast cancer.

This year we are raising funds to honor one of our own, Mrs. Carol Matthieson. Please join us on Friday, October 11th in the JCHS Gladiator Stadium at 7:00 as we host Lanier High School during our annual Pink Out football game with fun raffles and prizes! Your donation and sponsorships are greatly appreciated!

All funds raised will go directly to giving women in the local community a break from breast cancer.

To become a corporate sponsor, please contact Katherine Anderson at katherine.g.sullivan@gmail.com

Volunteers

JCHS often need parent volunteers, so please join the PTSA!

All school volunteers will need to register to assist with working in the office, attendance office, drama department, team meals, senior treats, Wellness Wednesday, senior carnival, chaperones, etc.

Any task that will allow you to interact with students will require you to register as a volunteer.

Please follow the link to access the FCS Volunteer Registration page. Register as a Volunteer - Fulton County School System (fultonschools.org)

All visitors must remember to bring in their driver's license each time they sign in. This is non-negotiableThe license will need to be scanned each time they come to the office. It will not hold onto the information like the other system. So, if you are coming in for a parent/counseling/teacher/administrator meeting, you must remember to bring your license. It must be the physical license, digital will not suffice.
