PTSA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

 

Join the JCHS PTSA!  Did you know that 100% of your PTSA membership dollars goes directly back to the school to support your students?  We need your help so we can fund student scholarships, classroom mini grants to enhance the learning experience, and wellness programs every month for student benefit, just to name a few.  Please help us build back our membership base so we can expand programs that benefit our kids! There are various levels of membership and any donation is greatly appreciated.  

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY

MOCK ACT OR SAT

Johns Creek HS students – Do you want to know where you score on the SAT or ACT test?

Join Best in Class for a mock SAT or ACT test on one of our next two dates:

·  Saturday August 24th at 12:30 pm – register for this date at: https://bestinclassnorthatlanta.regfox.com/best-in-class-august-2024-mock-sat-and-act

·  Tuesday September 3rd (Fulton teacher in service date) at 10 am - register for this date at: https://bestinclassnorthatlanta.regfox.com/september-2024-mock-sat-and-act

The fee for this test and consultation is $75 - participants also receive a $75 voucher toward any Best in Class college test prep offering.

Looking for help preparing? Our classes for the upcoming SAT and ACT test date start 10 weeks before the test date. Seats are available.  For more information email chrisr@bicedu.com or call 678-332-2100. 

VOLUNTEERS

All school volunteers will need to register to assist with working in the office, attendance office, drama department, team meals, senior treats, Wellness Wednesday, senior carnival, chaperones, etc. Any task that will allow you to interact with students will require you to register as a volunteer. Please follow the link to access the FCS Volunteer Registration page.  https://www.fultonschools.org/Page/9539  All visitors must remember to bring in their driver's license each time they sign in. This is non-negotiable. The license will need to be scanned each time they come to the office. It will not hold onto the information like the other system. So, if you are coming in for a parent/counseling/teacher/administrator meeting, you must remember to bring your license. It can't be digital either. 

NEWSLETTER EDITOR

Are you passionate about words, storytelling, and making a difference in your community? Do you have an eye for detail, a flair for creativity, and a knack for communication? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Parent Volunteer Newsletter Editor! At JCHS PTSA we believe that great stories have the power to inspire, inform, and unite people. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

The PTSA is looking for a parent to manage our social media pages.  Experience with Facebook, Instagram and Canva are a plus!  If this sounds like the perfect job for you, please reach out to Lael Dye, VP Communications at laelrn80@hotmail.com 

SENIOR SUNRISE

The PTSA sponsored Senior Sunrise for the Class of 2025 on Monday, August 5 from 6:30 - 8:00 am at the Baseball Concessions Area. Dunkin Donuts and Dunkin Iced  Coffees were served. There were games, music, handprint banner making, friends, fun and a group picture. Wishing the Senior Class of 2025 all the best this senior year!

CLASS OF 2025 PORTRAITS

Bookings are now OPEN for senior photo sessions for the class of 2025. You must be photographed by CADY to be in the yearbook. Get photos for grad announcements, senior yearbook ads, and flawless Insta posts. Book now at cady.com/schedule.

Attention Seniors ... Register to Vote!

How to Register:  Its easy and online registertovote.sos.ga.gov

 

If you will be away from home at college, etc. on an election day, remember to apply for an Absentee Ballot several weeks in advance.  Go to mvp.sos.ga.gov, and click on the "Absentee Ballot" option.  You can also check your registration details and voting location on this site.   

 

Note that if you make a permanent move, be sure to change your Georgia voter registration details or register with your new state of residence when you get a new driver's license.
