JCHS PTSA Trailblazer Scholarship

This scholarship seeks out a senior who has demonstrated extreme depth in one or two activities during their years at JCHS – A student who has embraced their passion and grown with it during high school.

For 2023, we were proud to offer 2 Trailbazer Scholarship awards of $1000 each.

Honors Night

The PTSA sponsored our Honors Night reception to honorees and their families of more than 300 people preceding the presentation on April 13th.

Honors Night is an evening to celebrate the top students in each academic department by grade level (as selected by the teachers), as well as to celebrate other specific academic honorees, including the senior class Valedictorian and Salutatorian; National Merit Scholars; Service Academy appointments; GHP finalists; PTSA scholarship winners; and a few other selected honors related to school-sponsored academic organizations.

The reception was a great success!

Special thanks to PTSA Honors Night Chair, May Yai, VP of Academic Enrichment, Rebecca Wang, and Cherry Luo for event planning and all the student volunteers from Beta Club!

This event is not to be confused with honor roll recognition or for recognizing honor graduates. The honor roll is celebrated each semester with a treat from the PTSA, and honor graduates are recognized at graduation.
