Weekly Newsletter - April 11, 2023

The JCHS Nominating Committee is pleased to announce we are accepting nominations for the 2023-2024 JCHS PTSA Board of Directors!

We are looking for volunteers who will be able to participate and attend most of the monthly meetings. You must have a current PTA membership to be considered. All nominees must give their consent by completing the nomination form below.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 17, 2023.

Nominees will be contacted directly by a nominating committee member to discuss position duties and qualifications. We hope you will join our board and help continue our commitment to improving the educational experience for our students, teachers, and administrators. The nominating committee does not fill the positions of Parliamentarian, Committee Chairs, or Committee Members, but will forward information of anyone interested in those positions to the new board of directors upon their election.

Sally Fitzgerald PTA Scholarship Winners

The North Fulton PTA Council received 18 complete applications for the Sally Fitzgerald PTA Scholarship from a variety of North Fulton high schools students. After the scholarship committee reviewed and judged the entries, 3 students were selected as winners. Here are the top 3 students.

1. Allison Kitchens - Cambridge High School
2. Alexandra Gavranovic - Alpharetta High School
3. Reagan Eck - Roswell High School

Spring Honor Roll Recognition

The PTSA held the Spring of 2023 Honor Roll Recognition Event on Wednesday 3/29 during the three lunch periods. More than 1000 students received their favorite Auntie Anne's pretzel nuggets. The event was a great success. So many happy faces on campus!

Thank you to all the administrators and volunteers who helped with the event!

SENIOR YARD SIGNS!!

Senior yard signs are available for pick up for any senior, who has participated in senior activities this year and paid the fee. Please bring your ID when you pick up so we can check you off the list.

Dates & Times for Pick-up: Monday, April 17th from 10-1pm & Tuesday, April 18th from 2-5pm

Pick-up Location: Ticket booth in front of the school

Please stop by and get yours ... don't forget your ID!!!

If you are interested in Chairing or Co-Chairing the PTSA sponsored Freshman Mini Camp this July please email president@jchsptsa.com The Chair/Co-Chairs will plan and implement the event to be held late July.

Attention Seniors & Parents of 2023 Seniors!!

The Class of 2023’s Graduation is upon us!!

If you have not signed your student up for Senior Activities, please do it as soon as possible. The Senior Activities fee is separate from the PTSA fee and is your student’s entrance into the Senior Carnival on May 16th and their Senior Yard Sign for your yard. Your senior will also receive 4 more senior treats this year as well.
