Staff Appreciation Week
April 11-15
Donations Needed!
Staff Support would also like to get the students involved this year! Here's How Students can participate:
- Tuesday, April 12th - Please have your student bring "Next drink is on me" for each teacher. K-cups, individually wrapped tea bags, Hot Chocolate packet, Kool-Aid packet, lemonade packet are just a few examples (one per teacher). Unprepared drink mixes will not weigh down a backpack!!
- Thursday, April 14th - Students are encouraged to leave "Uplifting Post-It Notes" on white board or desk.
- Friday, April 15th - Please have your students bring a heartfelt, hand-written thank you note to each teacher.
Gladiator of the Month
Congrats to Mrs. Prost! She’s our #JCHSGladiators Gladiator of the Month. So well-deserved. Few work harder and pour more into our kids. She is CREED. TY Mrs. Prost!

Senior Gold Envelopes!
The JCHS Senior Events Committee is sponsoring Senior Gold Envelopes for all graduating seniors. This tradition is a special opportunity to honor our 2022 graduates with personalized notes or cards to commemorate this distinctive event in their lives. We invite you, other family members, friends, VIPs and members of the JCHS faculty to write notes of congratulations to your son or daughter. We will collect these cards and notes for each student and distribute them before graduation. Every senior will be presented with a large Gold Envelope containing the collected notes and cards. The notes and cards will be kept confidential until graduation.
How it works:
- Ask your family and friends to write a card or letter congratulating your senior.
- Have them mail or deliver to your home address.
- Bring all cards and letters to school from May 2 - 6, 2022 – there will be a drop-off station. More details to come as we get closer.
- Do not bring money or gifts. Only cards or letters no larger than 8.5 x 11.
- Include on the envelope:
- STUDENT’S FULL NAME
- Johns Creek HS – Senior Gold Envelopes
All cards/letters must be received by May 6, 2022! Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made.
Let’s show the Class of 2022 how special they are to us and that we acknowledge their achievements over the last 12 years.
Raising Awareness
National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week
National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week was March 21-27, 2022.
The PTSA Wellness Committee hosted an anti-drug activity during the lunch periods on March 23rd. Posters, wallet cards, and booklets provided scientific information about the detrimental consequences of drug addiction and the essential prevention and treatment approach.
Student Ambassadors helped distribute drug addiction information along with say no to drugs lollipops, wristbands, hand sanitizers and lip balms to advocate anti-drug awareness.

We need parent volunteers to help with textbook inventory. It’s really easy! We need one or 2 parents to go to the book rooms and scan the books in our system. Ms. Robyn Vogel will show you how to scan the textbook inventory on the school laptops.
Grab a friend or neighbor and spend a couple hours catching up while helping our JCHS media center! It's a quick and easy way to help out our school.
If you have not registered as a volunteer since January of 2021, please click the link below:

Volunteers, Please Read!
If you have signed up to volunteer for any event you must sign in as a Volunteer, not Visitor.
Volunteers who have an expired registration or who have not completed the mandatory volunteer registration and training, as required by Fulton County Schools, will not be able to volunteer as it is a Safety & Security issue on campus.
Training is only valid for two (2) years, so if you cannot recall when you last received training, it may be time to renew. Luckily, it's quick and easy!
Click on the link below ⬇️ to get started or renew your registration and training.
