Hula Hoop, Anyone?

Wellness hosted their first Wellness Wednesday of 2023 on January 18th. The theme was “Focus on Fitness”. If students showed us a fitness app they use, added a new one, or did a little hula hoop so they could enter a drawing for a Smoothie King card. 10 cards were awarded.

The following students won a card which was sent to their first period teacher listed to the right - or the first class they attend daily.

Shira Babalakin - Johnson
London Margona’ - Snyder
Kenad Mamillian - Crase
Mason Stansbury - 2nd period
Natalie - Mrs DeBuys
Namya Serray- Pace
Donald Ojede - Caveda
Heather Hines - Reshetov
Katie Johnson - Roth
Hudson Howie - Uriz

Congrats to our winners!!

Thank you to all our parent volunteers and junior ambassadors!

Experience 4 Countries in Southern Europe in Summer 2024!

Discover how Cinque Terre has retained its original charm, learn how the French Riviera became the place to be for generations of rich and famous, and see how Antoni Gaudí’s surreal architecture has turned the city of Barcelona into one big gallery.

Get all the details, including the itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, the cost of our trip and EF’s risk-free enrollment period at our upcoming information session.

You must register for the meeting by TODAY, January 31 to attend. View the meeting details and register here:https://bit.ly/3FPWunD

There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity!

This trip is not sponsored by Johns Creek High School or Fulton County Schools; it is a non-school-affiliated trip being organized by James Johnson in partnership with EF Education First, an accredited organization. If you have any questions about the opportunity, please reach out to Mr. Johnson at johnsonj9@fultonschools.org

You're Invited! To Georgia PTA Day at the Capitol

You are invited to Georgia PTA Day at the Capitol.  It's coming up SOON - next TUESDAY February 7.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about the (non-partisan) legislation function of our PTSA, and even meet Georgia State congress members.  Also, we are seeking a co-VP of Legislation on the board next year, so if you care about getting seniors registered to vote and bringing the important election info and issues to parents, teachers and students, this session will be a great start!

Please feel free to email nataliebendure@gmail.com with any questions, and definitely let me know if you are planning to attend.  We can organize some carpools if you wish, or at least find each other downtown!

Senior Scholarship Opportunities

Attention all Seniors!  Don't miss out on the opportunity to apply for a college scholarship sponsored by the JCHS PTSA!  Application deadline is February 10th.  Open link to view details and access applications.

Yearbook is Searching for Brave Parents of Seniors

The editors are busy putting the finishing touches on the yearbook and want to include a section where they compare current senior portraits with those of their parents. If you still have your senior portrait and would like to share it with us (this is where being brave comes in), please fill out this form to submit it.

Thanks for your support!

Attendance Office Volunteers Needed!

This is a regular once or twice a month shift either in the morning or afternoon. Volunteering in the attendance office is a great way to not only be involved in the high school, but is also a great way to learn about the importance of regular attendance for your student. It’s easy and is a great way to serve our school in an area where parents are crucially needed.
